Best TradingView alternatives in 2026

TradingView is the default charting site for retail traders, and most "TradingView alternatives" lists are written by vendors that sell one of the alternatives. People leave it for different reasons: a lower price, better fundamentals, a stronger scanner, futures support, or a way to automate. Those are different jobs, so this roundup groups nine tools by the job they do and says what each one gives up compared with TradingView. We make Tradewink, and it is on the list; it is also the one entry that does not replace a charting platform. Every price and limit below was read from the vendor's own pages on October 10, 2026.

Vendor details checked against each vendor's own pages on . Tradewink details from its public plan data.

Each tool: what it does and where it is not the right fit

1. StockCharts

Best for: Classic technical charts with scans and alerts, at a lower price than most

StockCharts is a charting and technical-analysis site. Its pricing page lists a Free level and three paid levels (Basic, Extra and PRO) that differ in indicators and overlays per chart, saved ChartLists, scans, alerts, saved layouts and historical depth, and it sells real-time data plans for the U.S., Canada and the U.K. separately.

Where it works well

  • A free level and paid levels from $19.95 a month, with every limit printed per level
  • Scans, alerts and saved layouts are part of the plans, not add-ons
  • Historical data depth is listed per level

Where it is not the right fit

  • You want Pine Script or a large library of community scripts: neither is listed on its pricing page
  • You trade intraday and need real-time data: it is a separate monthly plan on top of the service level
  • You want to place orders from charts: no broker connection is listed

Read from: StockCharts pricing (October 10, 2026)

2. Koyfin

Best for: Fundamentals, estimates, macro dashboards and portfolio views with charting

Koyfin is a market-data and research platform. Its pricing page lists a Free plan, Plus and Premium for individuals, and advisor tiers above them, with financials and estimates history, ETF holdings, screeners, watchlists, custom dashboards and portfolio analytics varying by plan.

Where it works well

  • Financials, estimates, filings and transcripts sit next to charts on the paid plans
  • A free plan that still includes charting and market dashboards
  • A 30-day full-refund window is stated on the pricing page

Where it is not the right fit

  • You want intraday scanning: real-time versus delayed data, alerts and chart limits are not stated on the pricing page
  • You want to write indicators or strategies in a scripting language: none is listed
  • You want to place orders or automate: no broker connection or bots are listed

Read from: Koyfin pricing (October 10, 2026)

3. Finviz Elite

Best for: Fast screening, maps and alerts at a low price

Finviz is a screener, chart and market-map site. Its Elite page lists real-time quotes, advanced screener filters, unlimited saved presets, a 10-second screener auto-refresh, unlimited alerts, data export and a 12-chart layout. The regular version is listed with delayed quotes, basic filters, 50 presets, a 3-minute refresh and no alerts.

Where it works well

  • Screening and sector maps are the core product, and the free version is usable
  • Real-time quotes, unlimited alerts and export on one plan
  • A free version to build and test a screen before paying

Where it is not the right fit

  • You want to draw, script or build custom indicators: the Elite page lists preset filters, not a scripting language
  • You need to place orders from the chart: no broker connection is listed
  • You want backtesting or automation: neither is listed on the Elite page

Read from: Finviz Elite (October 10, 2026)

4. TC2000

Best for: Custom scan formulas on a charting platform with real-time U.S. stock data

Where it works well

  • Custom criteria formulas and a wizard for building scans
  • Real-time U.S. stock data is included from the entry plan
  • Alert capacity scales to 1,000 on the top tier

Where it is not the right fit

  • You want a free plan: none is listed
  • You want a large community-script library: none is listed on the pricing page
  • You need options, index or consolidated-tape data: each is a separate paid monthly add-on

Read from: TC2000 pricing (October 10, 2026)

5. TrendSpider

Best for: Automated chart analysis, scheduled scans and no-code backtests

TrendSpider is an automated technical-analysis and charting platform. Its pricing page lists scheduled scans, alerts, backtests, trading bots, a Sidekick AI assistant (25 messages a month on every plan) and a connection to 30+ brokerages and crypto exchanges through a free SignalStack account.

Where it works well

  • Scans, alerts, backtests and bots are in the same product as the charts
  • Scan, alert and bot limits are printed per plan, so you can size one
  • Real-time U.S. equity data is listed as included for non-professional users

Where it is not the right fit

  • You want a free plan: the trial itself is paid
  • You want the lowest ongoing price: listed rates after the first year start at $59 a month
  • You want to scan intraday on the Standard plan: its minimum scanning timeframe is 2 hours

6. NinjaTrader

Where it works well

  • Free simulated environment with full-featured charting
  • Commission schedule by plan is explicit
  • Community-built automated strategies are listed

Where it is not the right fit

  • You trade stocks or options only: it is built around futures
  • You want no commissions to think about: per-contract fees and exchange fees apply

Read from: NinjaTrader pricing (October 10, 2026)

7. MetaTrader 5

Where it works well

  • Strategy Tester and Expert Advisors are part of the platform
  • Large library of community indicators and robots, some free
  • Desktop, Android, iOS and browser versions

Where it is not the right fit

  • You want a hosted screener and social ideas feed: neither is listed on its platform page

  • You want one fixed price and data terms: both depend on the broker you connect

Read from: MetaTrader 5 trading platform (October 10, 2026)

8. Webull

Best for: Charts and order entry inside a commission-free brokerage account

Webull is a brokerage. Its pricing page states no commissions for stocks, ETFs and options listed on U.S. exchanges and no deposit minimums, and lists web, desktop (Mac, Windows, Linux) and mobile apps, charts and tools, an order-flow chart, a script editor, paper trading and an Open API.

9. Tradewink

Best for: Reading written signals for a watchlist you already chart elsewhere

Tradewink is the product we make: a watchlist-first signal service. You add the tickers you follow and it publishes signals for currently enabled signal types, each with entry, stop, target and written reasoning, plus paper tracking. It is not a charting platform and does not replace TradingView.

Where it works well

  • Each signal arrives with entry, stop, target and written reasoning to review
  • A free plan with no credit card, and a 7-day Starter trial
  • Paper tracking of a reviewed decision, so you can check it before risking money

Where it is not the right fit

  • You want charts, drawing tools, indicators or scripting: it is not a charting platform
  • You want to set your own filters and see every market-wide match: use a scanner from this list
  • You need intraday data on the free plan: it is delayed 15 minutes, and real-time starts on Starter
  • You want live order routing from a public plan: public subscriptions are paper-only

How this list was built

We started from current "TradingView alternatives" search results and kept tools that publish plan details we could read. Each was read from its own pricing or product pages, not from reviews. TradingView is the baseline, so it is not listed as its own alternative: its own pricing and features pages show a free Basic plan with 3 price alerts, paid plans from $12.95 a month billed annually, Pine Script, and trading from charts through 100+ brokers. Where a vendor did not state a price, a delay or a limit, the table says so instead of guessing. Entries are ordered by the job they do, not by a score, and nothing here rates a tool or its results.

Left out because we could not verify it

  • TradingView itself: it is the baseline for this page, not an alternative to itself. See the dated Tradewink vs TradingView comparison for its plans.
  • thinkorswim and TradeStation: their pages returned authorization errors to automated fetch on October 10, 2026, so we state nothing about either.
  • Interactive Brokers, Moomoo, Stock Rover, MultiCharts, Bookmap and DAS Trader Pro: they appear on other "TradingView alternatives" lists, but we did not read their vendor pages for this roundup, so we make no claims about them.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best TradingView alternative?

It depends on what you use TradingView for. StockCharts is a closer match for classic charting at a lower price, Koyfin leans toward fundamentals and macro data, TC2000, Finviz Elite and TrendSpider put more weight on scanning, and NinjaTrader and MetaTrader 5 are built for futures and coded strategies. None of them lists TradingView's community script library or Pine Script, so if those are central to your workflow, keep TradingView.

Is there a free alternative to TradingView?

Several tools here have a free level: StockCharts (3 indicators and 3 overlays per chart, 2 price alerts), Koyfin (2 watchlists, 2 screens, advanced charting), the regular version of Finviz (delayed quotes, no alerts), and NinjaTrader's Free plan, which lists charting, backtesting and simulated trading without funding. TradingView also has a free Basic plan with 3 price alerts, so compare the limits, not only the price.

Can I use Pine Script on another platform?

Pine Script is TradingView's own scripting language, so scripts written in it do not carry over. The alternatives here use their own routes: TC2000 lists criteria formulas, NinjaTrader links NinjaScript, MetaTrader 5 uses MQL5, and TrendSpider lists no-code backtests and bots. Rebuilding a script is real work, so count it before you switch.

Is Tradewink a TradingView alternative?

No. Tradewink works on a watchlist you build and publishes signals with entry, stop, target and written reasoning for currently enabled signal types. It has no charting, drawing tools or scripting. Many people keep TradingView for charts and use a signal-review tool next to it; neither requires the other.

Can these platforms place trades for me?

Some can, in different ways. Webull is a broker, NinjaTrader lists futures commissions and automated strategies, MetaTrader 5 runs Expert Advisors through a broker, and TrendSpider connects to 30+ brokerages through SignalStack. Automated orders carry real risk, including fills that differ from what a chart showed. Public subscriptions are paper-only; separately approved private beta accounts may submit live broker orders.

How current are the prices on this page?

Every vendor price, delay and limit was read from the vendor's own pages on October 10, 2026, and each is linked under Sources. Vendors change plans and run promotions often, so confirm on the vendor's page before you buy.
