How Tradewink has actually performed
When shared performance data is available, metrics on this page come from live trades executed through connected brokers — not from simulations or cherry-picked backtests. We publish the methodology below so you can decide what weight to give these figures before upgrading to a paid plan.
Data window: rolling, since platform launch · Source: shared live broker executions when available
Important: Tradewink is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer. Metrics below are platform-reported from users who shared live broker execution data — they are not audited and may not reflect all users. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Trading involves substantial risk of loss. See full methodology.
Methodology
Data source. All trades on this page are executed through real, connected brokerage accounts via each broker's public API (Alpaca, Tradier, tastytrade, Schwab, IBKR, TradeStation, Webull, Moomoo, plus SnapTrade routes). We record fills at the broker-reported fill price, not at the signal entry zone — so slippage is included. Fees and commissions are subtracted where the broker reports them.
Win rate. Computed as wins ÷ (wins + losses). Flat-closed trades (zero-P&L exits) are excluded from the denominator so the ratio reflects directional outcomes only.
Profit factor. Gross dollar profit from winners ÷ gross dollar loss from losers, across the full live-trade population. A profit factor above 1.0 means wins outweigh losses in aggregate; 1.5+ is generally considered strong.
Universe. Metrics aggregate across all active users who opted into shared-anonymous performance reporting, across all strategies. Individual user results will vary based on which strategies they enable, their broker, their account size, and how they configure risk limits.
Freshness. Stats refresh on each page load from the live platform database. The rolling window is open-ended since the platform launched in 2025 — we do not yet publish a separate 30/60/90-day cohort view (planned).
What these numbers mean
A win rate alone is not a signal of quality. A system with 70% win rate and a 0.5 profit factor still loses money (losers are twice as large as winners). A system with 45% win rate and 2.0 profit factor compounds. Always read win rate, profit factor, and average P&L together — then decide if the risk/reward profile fits your account.
What these numbers do NOT mean
Past performance does not guarantee future results. AI confidence scores represent self-assessed criteria match — not probability of profit. A positive historical win rate can reflect the market regime during the measurement window and may not persist if conditions shift.
Regulatory disclaimers (please read)
CFTC Rule 4.41 notice (hypothetical results). When any metric on this page reflects simulated or hypothetical performance (e.g., historical backtests, paper-trading cohorts), that subset is disclosed separately and clearly labeled. Hypothetical performance has many inherent limitations — it does not represent actual trading and cannot account for the impact of real market conditions on decision-making. Live trades do not guarantee similar future returns.
Not investment advice. Tradewink is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 or the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Nothing on this page constitutes personalized investment advice. Signals and performance statistics are informational only. Trading involves substantial risk of loss, including loss of principal.
Survivorship note. Published metrics reflect users who stayed active on the platform. Users who disconnected their broker after losses are not captured in the aggregate — this creates a mild survivorship bias. We are working on an all-cohorts view.
