How Tradewink writes, sources, dates, and corrects the content you read here.

Who writes Tradewink content

Learn guides, glossary entries, strategy and signal-type pages, comparison pages, and stock research pages are published and maintained by the Tradewink team under the Tradewink organization. We do not attribute them to individual analysts or credentialed advisers.

Some content, such as the engineering-learnings posts on the blog, is drafted with the help of language models working from a fixed set of facts, and a draft that makes a performance or profitability claim is rejected before publication.

Tradewink is a technology platform. It is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer, so nothing we publish is personalized investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell a security.

What the content is for

Our guides explain concepts, mechanics, and risks so a self-directed trader can evaluate a setup and decide for themselves. Signals and research pages show reasoning and risk context to inspect. They are not predictions or instructions.

How claims are checked

Public copy is checked against a written claims registry before it ships. Performance, accuracy, and results claims are published only with their scope, source, date, and limitations, and we do not publish guarantees or promises of returns.

Outcomes shown on stock pages are marked to market against each signal's own stated levels and labelled hypothetical: nobody executed them. Competitor pricing and feature statements on comparison pages need a dated primary source that the page links to.

Sources and citations

Where a guide relies on a regulator, exchange, broker, standards body, or published research, it links to that primary source in the text, and the sources are collected in a list at the end of the guide. A guide without such a list has not cited an external primary source, and you should weigh it accordingly.

Rules and thresholds change. When a guide describes a regulation or a broker policy, check the linked source and your own broker for the current rule before acting.

What the Updated date means

The Updated date on a guide is the most recent recorded review or edit of that guide. Guides re-checked together in a single review pass share the same date, and a later edit to a guide gives it its own date.

Corrections

Each guide has a report-outdated-content form under its title. Reports go to the Tradewink team, and a confirmed error is corrected in the guide and reflected in its Updated date. You can also reach us through the contact page.
